Lets see - 3 miles, took an hour. 68 books, goal was 75 and I think it’s the new goal too. I read 7 books last year and one of them I started 17 times( it was a potential for a screenwriting project- book to series) and I still didn’t finish it. About to spend the day reading all the articles you linked. Happy New year!
I hear you on starting a book and not finishing it. I DNFed two books before starting Parable of the Sower because they were dragging and not holding my attention. I used to feel bad about not finishing books, but now, I realize there's no point in forcing myself to read something that is not engaging. Happy New Year, boo! Enjoy the reads.
Yes I read more than one book at once. I usually mix fiction and nonfiction. TBH, I read A LOT of romance in 2024, which tend to be quick reads for me.
I read a lot of urban fiction/urban romance in 2024, and yes, those are quick reads for me as well. I enjoy them, though. How many books do you usually have going at once?
Really happy to see more folks blogging again. I’m hoping that motivates me to post more. I only posted 7 times last year. Should be pretty simple to beat that record. 😂

Thanks for the shout-out, Mo
You the homey from way back, so you already know.
I read over 100 books last year, and I oddly haven't set a goal yet this year. I need to do that.
Do you read more than one book at once, Nini? If so, are they fiction? Non fiction? A mix of both? How do you manage it?

Whew. Right now I have about 6 books in progress. 🤦🏾♀️
Wow! That’s a lot.
1) Happy New Year. Here's to a prosperous, productive one for you
2) It's not user error: Chrome is just a memory HOG. Every tab you're opening is basically another instance of Chrome that you're opening
3) Currently reading "The butlerian jihad" ( I "found" all those Dune audiobooks), so I'm geeked out
This is helpful information!

You will definitely beat that record this year. I’m rooting for you, and I’ll be encouraging you from the sidelines.
Thank you for sharing my work. It feels so good to be seen. ❤️.
1. 3 miles
2. 35 tabs
3. 2 but that's only because I cleared a lot last night on all devices 😂
4. 68 books
5. My goal is 12 books
What you wrote resonated big time.
