this is all about my hair!

First of all, don’t talk to me for the next few minutes because baby, I went to the salon and asked for a pixie cut, and my girl Tracy delivered; do you hear me?

If you have seen me over the last month or so, I’ve been sporting an afro puff because my short cut had grown out, and I didn’t know what else to do with my hair. I was thinking about growing it back out, but my girls were telling me all about how they love me with the short blonde hair.

Then I went searching for a cute picture of someone with natural hair and a pixie cut.

I found this:

I sent this picture in a text to my stylist and asked her if we could make my hair look like this.

“Your hair isn’t the same texture as hers,” she told me. “So it won’t look exactly like that, but we can do something similar.”

Something similar:

Bitch. I said, don’t talk to me for the next few minutes!

The color came out perfect!

My friend Tiffanny said I look like a Targaryen, and I was like, yesssssssss.

This is with nothing but a light leave-in conditioner and some medium hold gel on it.

Wait until I get to playing with my juices and berries tomorrow.

The haircut itself feels so light and airy.

I used to get cut at the barbershop, but I always felt a little boxy and stud auntie-ish, and this is not a diss of stud aunties, but I am not trying to cosplay as one of you fine ladies; I want a softer look for myself.

Tracy gave me that softer look. The cut is so fucking cute.

I’m vain, so I’ll take more pictures tomorrow when I style it more, but for now, just stare at these and tell me how much you love my haircut in the comments.
