Using my pen to keep me paid, ho

As you read this, you should really be playing my theme song – especially since it is on a loop in my head as I write this. 

It’s usually difficult for me to listen to music with lyrics when I’m writing, but this song gets me so hype and motivated, it’s one of the exceptions to that rule. 

Anyway, in our last episode, I told you about all the books I’ve read since the beginning of the year. 

Let’s get into what I’ve written and published in that same period of time.

Miscellaneous

• The song “Yeah Glo!” has been trending on Twitter for the past three days now, and I love it.

• I watched a bunch of Nara Smith videos on TikTok (I’m not linking, but you owe it to yourself to go watch), and now the algorithm is serving a bunch of videos from people mocking her, and I know I shouldn’t be laughing this hard, but these videos are funny AF. To be fair, I won’t link to them either.

• If you are not into “Love Is Blind” on Netflix, then this next note will mean nothing to you, but if you do watch the show, you will understand. I love Deepti and Natalie’s podcast “Out of the Pods.” They are the perfect people to do this show, and their observations about the people on the show are always spot on. Also, their deadpans when they do the advertisements crack me up every single time.
