Slow horses on Apple TV. It’s one of my fav and has four seasons so you can binge through the holidays. If you like an easy going comedy with a serious under tone- Shrinking, also on Apple TV. I love Jessica Williams, who plays Gaby and Luke Tennie who plays Sean should be nominated for an Emmy in my opinion. Enjoy!
I recently watched Dark Winds on Netflix (and to your point it’s also on AMC+), both seasons are really good, and this is a very good book, and he was a very good writer and that makes it hard to drill down to which of his titles is a favorite: A Man in Full is a book by one of my favorite authors, Tom Wolfe.
1) I too have all the subscriptions under the sun except for Showtime/Starz. I had Apple+ but let it lapse. It's just too much content and it's hard to keep up, so I let a lot of stuff I was watching fall to the waistside
2) Apple+ has great stuff beyond Ted Lasso. Shrinking, Big Door Prize, Silo, Severance (really hype for this one), Hijack (I keep hearing about Slow Horses too)
3) Thx for reminding me about "A Man in Full". I only saw one or two eps of that one but I can tell it's legit
Was literally talking to someone about my subscription overload the other day. I feel like I got got and am still getting got by paying for all of them. Luckily, my cable is paid for via my HOA so I’m a little less got? Not really. 😁 Bad Sisters on Apple + and Day of the Jackal are both solid series. Just started Cross and told my husband that the lead is too fine for us to watch together. 😀
I go through periods where I cancel them all ... and then I slowly end up adding them back. 🤨 I have been at two for months but now, of course, there is something I want to see on Netflix so I'm going to have to add it back. Sigh.
Reasonable Doubt keeps popping up as recommended-for-you but I keep ignoring it, thinking "I don't need yet another detective or lawyer series." But your review made me decide to watch it. So thank you! Or maybe not, since I shouldn't be watching anything. 😊

Ooh, thank you for the suggestions!

Adding Dark Winds to the list!

Ooh, I've been meaning to watch Severance, so thank you for the reminder!

Not you pushing your spouse out of the room for Aldis Hodge!! 🤣🤣
I'm going to add your suggestions to my list.
Definitely second Reasonable Doubt. That's my show! Would also recommend Cross with Aldis Hodge on Amazon Prime.
I plan to start Cross next!
Cross is such a good watch, almost done watching it myself. Not sure what's next for me but I feel a documentary rabbit hole coming on.
I just started it tonight!

It honestly shouldn't be this way, having to subscribe to everything in life. Also, definitely watch Reasonable Doubt
