Yes! Katt started the year with a bang, and we still feel the aftershocks of that earthquake in December.
I had a goal of reading 75 books this year. I've read 68, and although I didn't hit the mark I set, I am still proud of all the reading I did because it means I wasn't doing my usual time-wasting like scrolling the internet or binge-watching television shows.
I wish you a happy new year. Thank you for coming around and kicking it with me!
I love to see someone else putting goat cheese on their avocado toast, too! And with scrambled eggs? Yes please! Highly recommend the chicken sausage patties at Trader Joe's to go with all that deliciousness to ramp up the protein.
It's a pleasure to read your content and I'm looking forward to seeing what you share next year.
Happy new year !! I found out about Virgin River when I worked in Times Square and would see ads for it all the time and I was they let that name happen?
How about Virgin River is a series of books! The Netflix series is based on the books. It's kind of sappy, but the name of the show is supposed to be the name of the town where all the people live. It's up in northern California somewhere. If you like sappy, overly dramatic, mindless entertainment, it's the series for you, I promise. Watch it while you fold laundry or something.
And after I said all that, i went to Trader Joe's, was in the frozen section for some of those kebab thingies, and forgot the damn chicken sausage lol. Help.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and journey ❤️
These glimpses are precious and I’m so glad you are blogging again!
I’m sorry you’ve been sick. We can only protect ourselves so much with one-way masking but it’s still worth doing (even though it can be difficult sometimes). I hope you’re back to full strength soon :)
Awww Lady! She’s so cute.
Katt was back in January? That’s how we started the damn year?
I never make resolutions but next year I am committing to read AND FINISH at least 50 books. My local library finna be tired of me!!
Cheers to 2025, can’t wait to see what you have in store for us.

OMG, I actually love those chicken sausage patties from Trader Joe's, so you just gave me an idea.
Thank you for always reading and engaging, Corinne. Can't wait to give you something to linger on.
Ohh can't wait to see what you come up with! Another delicious addition is Trader Joe's almond chipotle dip/spread.
