this will be quick
My dog is about to be one of those spoiled dogs you see on TikTok that eats gourmet dinners every night because who the fuck is feeding their dog kibble?
I was previously feeding her kibble — Wholehearted salmon kibble to be exact, and I would fancy it up by adding toppers, a small amount of wet food, and bone broth. She was into it for a while, but as of late, she has been eating around the kibble to get at whatever extra stuff I throw in there.
That was my first clue.
The last few days, I’ve given her a little bit of unseasoned chicken along with the kibble, and she loves it, but as previously mentioned, she eats around the kibble to get at it.
As we speak, I am cooking rice in unsalted chicken broth, and when that’s done, I’m going to cook a pound of ground turkey and add some frozen peas and carrots to it.
It will be enough to feed her for a few days, and I’ll see how she likes it. If she doesn’t like it, we can switch it up, but I’m sure she’s going to like it — especially if I heat it up before serving it to her She seems to really like warm food.
I guess I’m one of those annoying dog moms now, and you can prepare yourselves to hear all about the various recipes I come up with to satisfy little Miss Lady.

In other news, I will never cease to be amazed by people who construct entire narratives in their heads and then proceed to act on said narratives, regardless of whether it is true or not.
This has happened to me multiple times over the last few days, and I’m wondering if I’m the one who’s crazy or not.
I’m not crazy. People are.
I don’t have the bandwidth for much more tonight. I’m going to curl up with my book and get a good night’s rest so I can get up and do it all over again tomorrow.
